The scheduled work on the Arena portion of the Fleming Centre has been completed and the walking track is open again, as of today, Monday April 13, 2015.
At last night’s Council meeting, a substantial group of representatives from Hamilton Health Sciences came to speak as a delegation – to update us on initiatives HHS is taking to predict future health care needs.
HHS is holding a number of public information gathering workshops and is asking that you come and share your experiences with your health care system.
Public input is crucial…. If you have a story you want to share you can attend a workshop in Grimsby tomorrow night, Thursday April 9th from 7-9:30 at the Grimsby Senior Centre. For more details see www.hamiltonhealthsciences.ca
A big part of the vision of the Fleming Centre Arena, Community Rooms and Concourse – was that it be multi-functional and therefore was designed to allow for off season use… Trade Shows, musical entertainment etc. Work is scheduled to install acoustical baffles in the Arena area so it will not be safe for people walking the track.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause – We know the walking track is well-used. http://lincoln.ca/content/walking-track-closure
