Councillor Dave Thompson is bringing forth a motion at tonight’s Corporate Priorities Meeting, asking that staff report back to the next Corporate Priorities Meeting on having WIFI installed at Lincoln’s Town Hall.
This move will achieve a number of objectives of Council. Simply Put:
1. Environment: Save paper (Council reports printed for Councillors as well as copies printed for people attending meetings)
2. Finances: Save money typically spent on paper and printing (Council reports printed for Councillors as well as copies printed for people attending meetings)
3. Transparency: Anyone attending any meeting at Town Hall can access the electronic information needed to fully participate.
